Joanna Arida was born in Amman, Jordan, on February 26, 1998, to Rana Suyyagh, who worked as a math teacher, and Adi Arida, a professor in pharmaceutical technology. She lived in Germany, Jordan, the UAE, and Austria. She speaks fluent Arabic and English. Her German is at a professional working level. She graduated from the German Jordanian University in Jordan with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with Honors. Parallel to acting, she also works as a heritage and conservation architect. Joanna is based in both Dubai and Jordan and is represented by agent, Lara Abul Failat at A List Agency.
